Bowler's new rally raider to attend the LRO Show!

  • Posted on: 22 July 2016

Fans of off-road motorsport are in for a treat as Bowler Motorsport is planning a mega display of its purpose-built rally vehicles at Peterborough – the only Land Rover show of the year it’s attending.

The Derbyshire firm will be showcasing its brand-new Range Rover Sport-derived, Defender-bodied ‘CSP’ development vehicle (so new it doesn’t have a proper name yet!), giving LRO Show visitors a rare chance to see it outside rally stages.

Plus: expect a supporting cast to include a Wildcat, Defender Challenge 90 and 400bhp supercharged V6 110 Double-Cab. You’ll be able to get up close to the Bowlers, and see them fly in our Live Action Arena on both days.

NEW for 2016! LRO & Britpart Live Workshop

LRO’s Workshop section is the best in the business, and thanks to Britpart it will become a fantastic new feature of our 2016 show.

LRO’s workshop experts, including writer Martin Domoney, will be demonstrating a range of different tasks on our fleet of vehicles in the LRO Britpart Workshop theatre, compered by columnist and former Salvage Squad presenter Jerry Thurston. Like the whole LRO editorial team, they’ll also be available to talk Land Rovers throughout the weekend!

IMPORTANT - Off-roading information update!

Subject to planning restrictions, there are some new rules and measures that we need to communicate to LRO Show goers to ensure the safety of all show visitors:

- There will be a limit of 10 vehicles per session.
The course running time will be 30 mins per session.
A one way system will be in place on arrival and exiting the course.
Speed warnings will be deployed – so please take note and abide by them at all times.
